Drive and anticipate

reproduction problems

This is what the Mozaë reproduction control and monitoring service offers you.

Target animals that need it

The control of reproduction is a complementary service to the heat detection service.

Here, you go further in your management of the herd’s reproduction by anticipating the periods of breeding and acting quickly on cows with pathologies.

Anticipate good animal fertility

Whether on heifers or cows, it sometimes happens to forget to equip an animal and react in a delayed way.

Thanks to an indicator adapted to your practices of breeding and waiting age after calving, you have in real time the list of animals that require equipment quickly and therefore detect heat.

A cycleanimal before breeding will have a greater chance of being pregnant during the first insemination. You find the list directly in your dashboard.

Act quickly on animals without heat

Non-heat animals are animals that will require early diagnosis to ensure their reproductive system is functional and sterile.

In any case, the sooner the diagnosis is made, the sooner you are able to adapt an action plan to have a new pregnant cow.

On the breeding dashboard, you find the list of cows that are in this state with the important elements to adjust your decision.

This will avoid you to find animals with delays since the calving very advanced and that can be reformed by spite.

Detect cows that stop their gestation

A cow that stops gestation early can do so for many reasons.

In general, the visual heat tracking of a confirmed pregnant cow is less accurate and leads to many questions.

Thanks to an early and accurate detection and by making sure that the sanitary is not involved, you can re-inseminate this animal which would be in heat.

If this cow came further in lactation or this heifer too old, it will avoid you to keep it too long or dry out for a long time before you realize its lack of gestation. It is also a way to improve your economic performance.

Improve your economic results: lower turnover rate and less productive animals

Breeding is the main lever to improve your herd’s performance.

Having low calving intervals will allow you to have one calf per animal and year for the nursing mothers and enjoy the lactation peaks of your dairy cows.

By anticipating this, you reduce your percentage of unproductive animals and in turn your turnover rate by allowing more cows to be pregnant. This is all the more interesting as the cost of rearing a breeding heifer is between 1500 and 2000 € depending on the systems.
